Research

I analyzed leading CRM platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot to understand how they structure their value propositions, position calls-to-action (CTAs), incorporate social proof, and present features through storytelling. The goal was to identify patterns in how top-performing platforms communicate value and guide users toward conversion.

I structured the landing page using a conversion-first hierarchy: a clear hero section with a strong CTA, followed by the problem statement, product benefits, feature breakdown with visuals, social proof, pricing preview or demo CTA, FAQ section, and a final CTA. The goal was progressive persuasion—guiding users logically and strategically toward taking action.

Key Design Decisions

Decision 1 — Strategic Social Proof Placement

Client logos and testimonials appear before the pricing section to build trust before cost consideration.

This reduces resistance during decision-making.

Decision 2 — Repeated Call-to-Action

Placed in the hero section, mid-page after the feature showcase, and again before the footer—to capture users at different stages of their decision-making process and maximize conversion opportunities.

What I Learned

This project strengthened my ability to design for SaaS conversion psychology, balance minimalism with persuasive elements, structure long-form landing pages effectively, and align visual hierarchy with clear business objectives.

If I were to iterate further, I would run A/B tests on headline variations, experiment with interactive product demos in the hero section, and optimize CTA copy through performance-based testing to improve conversion rates.
